Many people come to me and say "my throat chakra is blocked" or "I need help speaking my truth"--I can help with both of those things, and help you come to a greater understanding of your voice as a muscle for stepping into your own power and potential.
Sound is a medium to which the whole body responds on both a cellular and spiritual level. Sound vibration is intrinsic medicine, and the sound or vibration of our voice is something we all carry and can access at all times. The human voice evokes a special resonance of recognition and validation of the body, in the psyche and in the nervous system. This resonance transcends our own physical body and energetic field, affecting the greater world around us in ways we are often not aware. This is true even for people who are deaf or cannot speak or sound in ordinary ways. The feeling and vibration of the voice can be as powerful as the actual sound, as your unique expression entwines, activates, and unites your mind, body, and spirit like nothing else. With your permission and collaboration, I can integrate voice work and vocal sound healing into your sessions. This work can be done in person and also via online meetings. I also lead group sound healing workshops and training classes for healing arts professionals. “I felt as though my throat chakra had received much needed tuneup and blessing....After the workshop, I felt more able to speak and sing deeper within my truth.”--Jordan Sean Brashears, Seattle, Vocal Sound Healing Intensive (Foundations) Workshop Participant with Susan DuMett and Ines Indrade Maricle.
